Working at BLENNZ

At BLENNZ we have a large nationwide team, that supports ākonga who are blind, deafblind or have low vision. These people come from a variety of backgrounds and provide skills and expertise across all educational sectors and work in a range of settings.

Kia ora whānau, this is Patrick Pink and I am a part of the BLENNZ National Assessment Service and I have the opportunity and the privilege of working with kids and families. What I do is, the, I am a Functional Sensory Assessor and what that does is that I basically take a look at kids eyes, hands and ears so, kia ora!

Kia ora everyone. My name’s Karen, I’m BLENNZ e-Learning Facilitator. I work here at BLENNZ supporting our learners and resource teachers vision with particular focus on online environments in the classroom and a really big part of my role is around accessibility and the accessibility of those online spaces.
