Full Inclusion in School Athletics Day

Laura was able to participate fully and be included in all the activities on the whole school athletics day. In order to achieve this her RTV initiated a strengthening and balance programme that involved a range of balance activities including the use of a physio ‘wobble board’. The RTV was also in attendance on the day to offer encouragement and emotional support to Laura.

The outcome for Laura was that she achieved full inclusion in all day’s programme, having a fun time with her peers and without any vision related issues.
