Jayke Hopa heads to US Space Camp for 25th Anniversary of SCIVIS!

Jayke sitting on a chair with his BrailleSense U2Last week we were able to share the first of two stories of BLENNZ students who are off to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama.

Today Jayke Hopa shares his thoughts about science and his trip to SCIVIS Space Camp in September. Jayke has been awarded a fully paid scholarship to attend and will be accompanied by Paulette Adsett, an Independent Life Skills Specialist from the Blind Foundation.

Nic Holloway, BLENNZ Resource Teacher Vision talks about the application process, sharing how this trip will allow Jayke to gain in confidence and skills. There are 200 students who are blind or have low vision who will be attending from around the world.
