A choice of six workshops were available for attendees to select from:
- Low tech – suggestions/strategies to use in the classroom
- iPad – useful iPad apps, inbuilt accessible features
- Laptop – inbuilt accessible features
- DOM – Orientation and Mobility and Sighted Guide
- Braille devices – Abacus/Braille Sense/Braille Note
- Accessibility – How to adapt curriculum material
The workshops included opportunities to see things from the perspective of a visually impaired learner, how this might affect their development and learning, and offered many different strategies and suggestions for support.
