2024 has brought about change in staffing with at least half the team being new to BLENNZ.

During term 2, we hosted the Low Vision Workshop for Educators. This year there were five breakout sessions and an extremely informative session on the structure of the eye, led by Samatha Simkins.

During the year, the team have had the opportunity to participate in the DOM On Campus, DOM Life Skills and DOM in the Community Course, meaning the team are in a good position to support the DOM programmes for our learners.

Another very successful group is Braille Club, which runs every Friday, where the learners love being connected in the inclusive space this has created.
