Living Independently

Gary Veenstra, RNZFB Child and Family social worker talks about providing opportunities for all young people to leave home and live independently. Gary talks about the importance of thinking ahead and imagining what an independent life might look like. He suggests it is important for families and whānau to investigate the options and possibilities for young people many years before they will leave home.
