Tēnā koe, my name is Saul Taylor and I am the Principal of BLENNZ. Having been at BLENNZ a number of years, I came into this role in 2024 and it is a privilege to lead this organisation.
I have been in teaching since 2001, and sensory education for the majority of those years. I am a dual trained and experienced practitioner in both Blind and Low Vision Education and Deaf Education. Across my career I have also enjoyed pursuing formal educational leadership and management qualifications. A central part of our work at BLENNZ is building and maintaining relationships with whānau and schools as well as effective partnerships with key stakeholders. I am passionate about creating conditions, environments, a culture, and a skilled workforce that can best ensure our Blind, Low Vision and Deafblind learners reach their potential and are well prepared to achieve in life.
